This 8th edition sees a significant upgrade from the previous Mallorca North & Mountains Tour & Trail Map, as we have split Serra de Tramuntana in two halves to produce TWO much more detailed maps of larger scale, now also including all the popular tourist resorts on the southern coast. After a few years of working in a hectic consulting business, having realized that being a stressed out desk-jockey was not his thing, Jan Kostura swapped the office for the more liberating environment of the great outdoors. He found his second home in the Canary Islands, where he fell in love with the ambiance, the warm-hearted people, the constant sun, the stunning mountains and flamboyant nature.

Jan is author of Discovery Walking Guides' Walk! La Gomera, Walk! Tenerife, Walk! Lanzarote, as well as co-authoring Walk! La Palma with Charles Davis.

Nowadays Jan works as a cartographer and as a part-time hiking guide, with focus on the region of Macaronesia.
