Plates are bright and clear. Text block edge is moderately foxed. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Some plates becoming detached. Some occasional moderate cracking to gutters throughout, exposing binding material, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends, with fraying cloth and small splits. Large hole to spine. Moderate tanning to spine.
