Max's Ice Age Adventure by Logan Weinman

Max the dog and his young friend Tori travel in back in time to the last Ice Age where they encounter ice age mammals and endure a chase by a saber-toothed tiger. The simple story and artwork is accompanied by question and answer balloons that focus on the most common types of questions that children ask about time travel, ice ages, saber-toothed cats, global warming, and more.
"[Max] engages students, teachers, and parents with an amusing story while placing real science lessons into context" -- Vance Ablott, CEO, Challenger Center for Space Science Education"
