Meet Me At the Museum by David Goldin

Stub (a ticket stub) is left on the floor in a museum. He is trying to find a place to stay. The docent (a name tag) finds him and gives him a tour. He learns all about the different people who work at a museum and what kinds of things one finds in a museum. Toward the end of the tour, Stub finds the restoration room and becomes stuck to a painting (a collage). He is happy to have found a home. The book will include a glossary of museum terms.
David Goldin is well known for his editorial work. Client list includes: New Yorker, MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, Audobon, Disney, Houghton Mifflin, Scholastic, Klutz, Rolling Stone, Atlantic Records, National Geographic Adventure, Oxford University Press, New York Times, Newsweek, Time and Sports Illustrated. Goldin teaches at his local elementary school an afterschool enrichment program called "Kidstock" which is primarily cartooning but also includes other art movements. He also has private students, teaches animation, and holds workshops for teens on graphic novels.
