Microsoft Excel Made Easy by Rob Hawkins
Microsoft Excel is an incredible application, feature-rich and easy to use if you know how. It can help with the simplest of jobs, from shopping lists to presentation of data, to more complex formulas and sorting tasks. Everyone in business, or indeed, in almost any job, needs to know how to use this fundamental modern tool, so this timely new book provides information on all the basic capabilities and gives guidance on some of the more advanced techniques. Featuring step-by-step guides and clear, accessible text, the reader will learn everything they need to know and may discover some unexpected invaluable functions as a bonus.
Rob Hawkins started using spreadsheets in 1990 when colour monitors were a luxury and Microsoft Excel was available as version 3.0. After spending three years at university completing a computer-related business studies degree and using a variety of spreadsheets and database software, he became a freelance journalist and photographer in 1993. Two years later he started delivering computer training courses and continued his journalism, progressing into computer magazines and writing reviews and technical guides. The computer training develop into consultancy with several corporate projects using Excel. Over 15 years later, Rob is still working as a freelance journalist and photographer and also keeps his hand in the computer training market. His website can be viewed at www.robhawkins.co.uk
