Tyra Banks began modeling at the age of fifteen, the same age as Modelland's Tookie De La Creme. Tyra attacked the world of television after forging a modeling career she could never have imagined, launching the popular show America's Next Top Model, which is watched in over 170 countries, and her two-time Emmy-award-winning talk show, The Tyra Show, to become the super entrepreneur she always wanted to be. Tyra is a strong advocate for female empowerment and is committed to broadening the definition of beauty around the world. Tyra spent five years planning and writing her first novel of fiction, Modelland. Every page reflects her lifelong passion for reading and storytelling.
