Jain, N. K.: - N. K. Jain, Professor of Pharmaceutics at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. H. S. Gour Central University, Sagar (M.P.) is a renowned educationist and researcher with 15 quality books and more than 400 publications in reputed pharmaceutical journals and 4 patents to his credit. He has supervised 44 Ph.D. and 105 M.Pharm candidates. He is also a reviewer for several international and national research journals. Professor Jain has been the recipient of various prestigious awards like IDMA Research Award [1990, 1997 and 2004]; Motan Devi Dandiya Award [1999 and 2010]; M.L. Khorana Memorial Prize [2003 and 2006]; 'Teacher of the year 2003' Award; 'Dr. (Mrs.) Manjusree Pal Memorial Award [2008]; Schroff Memorial National Award [2008] and many more. Prof. Jain has been a member of various committees of AICTE, UGC, CSIR etc. Professor Jain's current research interests include various aspects of controlled, novel and targeted drug delivery; nanotechnology and nanomedicine.
