Janet Skeslien Charles, originally from Montana, currently lives in Paris where she leads writing workshops at the Left Bank bookshop Shakespeare & Company. Moonlight in Odessa is inspired by her two years as a Soros Fellow in Odessa, Ukraine. This is her first novel.
