A 1971 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, Wright is a music instructor in both the Suzuki and traditional methods. A mother of five and grandmother of (currently) nineteen, Wright is the accordionist in her popular eight-member family blue-grass band, the Fiddle Rascals (see Facebook), which specializes in old-time fiddling and vocals on favorite old tunes.
