Professor of Spanish Paloma Lapuerta teaches courses in Spanish language, culture, and literature at Central Connecticut State University. She has over twenty years of teaching experience in higher education institutions around the world, including the University of Michigan, Dartmouth College, and the Middlebury College Spanish School in the United States. She got her Ph.D. in Spanish Philology after completing her Licenciatura in Spanish Philology at the University of Salamanca. from the University of Geneva with a degree in Spanish Literature. She is the coauthor of Mosaicos, Unidos, Identidades, La escritura paso a paso, and Cortos en curso, as well as numerous articles and a book on Spanish culture and literature.
