Mouse and Mole: Clink, Clank, Clunk! by Joyce Dunbar

Three new Mouse and Mole stories about a broken bicycle, moss on the roof and a washing line ghost, helping children to see the fun in everyday life. The stories by Joyce Dunbar and James Mayhew are: 'Clink, Clank, Clunk!', 'Something on the Roof' and 'A Frisky, Fluttery Ghost'. -- Cyngor Llyfrau Cymru
Joyce Dunbar is best known for her lively and quirky picture books stories, with their wide emotional range. The Guardian has named her as ‘one of the best writers for children today’ with praise for her ‘sensitivity, lyrical style and gentle humour’. She revels in the joy of language, the playfulness of words, and in seeing her work fabulously brought to life by world-class illustrators including her daughter Polly Dunbar. Many of her stories have been dramatised for the stage and as puppet shows, with Longnosepuppets and Norwich Puppet Theatre. James Mayhew is an acclaimed illustrator, author, concert presenter and storyteller. James is the illustrator of the highly praised picture book Gaspard the Fox series by BBC Radio 4 news presenter Zeb Soanes and the creator of the much-loved Katie and Ella Bella Ballerina series. He has illustrated Graffeg’s re-publication of Koshka’s Tales. He is also the recipient of the New York Times book illustration award.
