Mr Croc Rocks by Frank Rodgers
Vain, forgetful, but utterly charming, Mr Croc is back! After seeing Rocky Alligator on "Croc Star", Mr Croc is determined to get on TV. He can't dance or sing, but he can play the guitar, and when he goes to a fancy dress party dressed as Rocky Alligator, it's like he could be his twin. On the way home, he dreams he really is his hero, so when someone calls out "Rocky" as he passes the TV studio, before he knows what's happening Mr Croc finds himself on stage in front of the cameras...But will he be able to fill his hero's shoes?
Frank Rodgers is the creator of the popular Mr Croc, who we first met in the Rockets series. Mr Croc now appears in full colour as a Chameleon. Frank has been described by Scottish Book Trust as one of Scotland's best-loved author/illustrators. He has written and illustrated over sixty books for publishers such as Penguin, Scholastic, Hodder and Collins - from picture books and story books to non-fiction and novels. He is also known for his illustration of books by other authors, most notably the Mr Majeika stories by Humphrey Carpenter.
