Mrs Greens Kettle and other Lincolnshire Acquittals by Malcolm Moyes

Jane Bell of Laceby, Elizabeth Dodds of Wrangle and Ellen Green of Fishtoft were three Lincolnshire women put on trial between 1845 and 1875 for killing their husbands with large quantities of arsenic, but were judged to be innocent of the crime.
Malcolm Moyes has published work in a range of different genres since leaving his native South Yorkshire. He is equally at home writing academic and educational text books, as he is creating fiction for Young Adults. He is the author of the acclaimed By Force of Circumstances: the Lefley Case Reopened, also published by Matador.
