My Mum by Anthony Browne

She's nice, my mum...My mum's a fantastic cook, and a brilliant juggler. She's a great painter, and the strongest woman in the world! She's really nice, my mum. A warm, funny tribute to Mum (and to mums everywhere) by the brilliant author/illustrator Anthony Browne.
Each spread is a perfectly conceived whole, each picture demanding endless scrutiny..original, unexpected, funny and typically Browne. * The Guardian *
It is full of caprice and oddity and wit. * The Observer *
The pictures are a delight, an easy fusion of the ordinary with the surreal, painted with clear-eyed detail. Very witty, very true. Small children will love Mum, and so will parents. * The Independent *
The illustrations are breathtaking and inspiring. Makes you glad to be a mum. * Angels & Urchins *
'A joy of a book, a celebration of mums everywhere.' * Carousel *
