Morishige has been a comic artist since 2001, but he is best recognized for his work on My Neighbor Seki and for being the younger brother of award-winning comic artist Akiko Higashimura. Morishige even appears in Higashimura's autobiographical manga Himawari as a character... Morishige's first effort,, was a finalist for the Chiba Tetsuya Comic Prize in 2000.
In 2001, he will devote his entire focus to manga development. Since then, he's created six shows, the most of which are comedies.
