Michael Fullan, OC, is Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto and the former Dean of the Ontario Centre for Studies in Education. He is a co-leader of the global initiative New Pedagogies for Deep Learning. He advises governments and local leaders on how to fulfill the moral aim of all children learning, and he is regarded as a worldwide authority on educational reform. In December 2012, Michael Fullan was awarded the Order of Canada. Many universities throughout the world have awarded him honorary doctorates.

Fullan is a multi-award-winning author whose works have been translated into a number of languages. Learning Forward awarded his book Leading in a Culture of Transformation the 2002 Book of the Year Award.
