Daniel Hannan is a politician and a writer. He writes for the Wall Street Journal and the London Daily Telegraph, among other publications. He was elected to the European Parliament in 1999, at the age of 27, and has been re-elected twice. He is a past president of the Oxford University Conservative Association.
