Night Fishing in Galilee by Kenneth Arnold

Using the twenty-first chapter of the Gospel according to John, Kenneth Arnold offers a sustained reflection on the acquisition of patience, wisdom, and spiritual maturity. Utilizing his own love and experience of fishing, he teaches us how to fish and in doing so risk a transforming encounter with the Risen Lord. Arnold invites us to join him, along with Peter and the Beloved Disciple, on an imaginative and illuminating journey of inquiry, a night fishing expedition that will plumb the depths of the Sea of Galilee and our souls. Night Fishing in Galilee will help readers who wish to navigate the path toward a deeper relationship with and knowledge of scripture, God, and themselves.
KENNETH ARNOLD is a deacon in the Episcopal Church and Director of Communications for the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. As a retreat leader and itinerant preacher, he has worked with congregations and vestries in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. He is also a playwright, whose play She Also Dances was cited in Best Plays of 1983. His most recent play, Enlightenment, is about the monk Thomas Merton. He is also the author of On the Way: Vocation, Awareness, and Fly Fishing.
