No Can Do by Julie O'callaghan

Julie OCallaghans new collection, No Can Do, ranges in tone from the poignant to the caustic and in subject-matter from the sublime to the hilarious. The book ends with an affecting sequence of elegiac poems, shocking in its starkness, adding to her reputation as a highly original and unpredictable poet. Poetry Book Society Recommendation.
This is poetry you can understand: lively, entertaining, well observed-- Wendy Cope * BBC Radio 4 *
Reading What's What, Julie O'Callaghan's second collection, is like finding oneself in the company of the best kind of wit and raconteuse on a long, long journey...a writer's and reader's antidote to despair. -- Mary O'Donnell * Poetry Ireland Review *
