Daniel Parker is a longtime public worker and writer who has lived in Russia, Japan, England, Canada, and Central America after graduating from Florida State University. After over 18 years in government, he served as a six-year Planning Commissioner for the Tallahassee-Leon County Florida Planning Commission. Daniel worked in a leadership role as an urban planner with a background in public health, focusing on short-term improvements while steering the focus toward long-term, sustainable outcomes. He lives in Tallahassee, Florida, with his wife and children.
