In 1999, Jennifer Murray - businesswoman, artist, housewife and mother of three - became the first woman to pilot a helicopter around the world, in a record breaking solo flight. Escorted by Colin Bodill, world microlight champion, she single-handedly chartered the helicopter across the globe.
Jennifer Murray was born in the USA and grew up in the UK. She has run her own textile company, completed marathons around the world and is a successful artist. In 1994, her husband bought a half share in a helicopter. The rest is history.
