I was quite excited at the prospect of a book on nuno felting in English, as the only one I have found up to now is in GermanNuno felting looks great fun and adds another dimension to silk painting.
Interestingly, after the introduction and getting started chapters, the book goes on to describe finishing methods, which include lining a silk scarf, making a cushion and preparing a wall hanging. Most of the projects are made using silk and merino wool. The projects are comprehensively explained step by step with photographs, making it all look very easy, and are followed by galleries of sumptuous samples.
For anyone interested in a new challenge I would thoroughly recommend this book.
