Odysseus by Dan Jolley
After finally winning the decade-long war against the Trojans, Odysseus, captain of the Greek Army, only has to guide his men back home, across the sea. Yet the journey will prove just as perilous as the battles they have just won, as they encounter the monstrous, man-eating Cyclops, the irresistible song of the siren, and the wrath of an angry Poseidon, god of the sea. Are he and his men destined to die at sea? Or can Odysseus's cunning, strength, and courage bring them safely home?Dan Jolley is a Georgia native who writes novels, video games, and comic books, collects uninspired felines, and should go to the gym more often. In 2007, he released his first original novel trilogy, the YA sci-fi/espionage Alex Unlimited. He debuted two new books in 2016, the superhero noir Gray Widow Trilogy and the Middle Grade urban fantasy trilogy Five Elements, in 2016. His most recent novel, the southern-fried Stephen King novel The Storm, was published in December of 2018. It was his first-ever mystery/thriller. DC Comics' Firestorm, Eisner Award-nominated JSA: The Unholy Three, and TokyoPop's The Lost Warrior, an expansion of Erin Hunter's Warriors novel series; Transformers: Battle For Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, Dying Light, and Chronos are among his video game credits. Dan and his wife Tracy live in the foothills of northwest Georgia.
