They give him food and shelter, and play games with him, but it is not until some days later that Oliver finds out what kind of friends they are and what kind of 'games' they play ...Mark Twain was born in Florida in 1835 and died in 1910. His real name was Samuel Clemens and for some time he was a pilot on a Mississippi river boat. He became a journalist and writer, and his stories about the adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn are famous all round the world.
