Ellen Potter lives with her husband and young son in upstate New York. OLIVIA KIDNEY was her first children’s novel, but Ellen has been writing for children and adults for over a decade and has been published in a number of American journals. She has also published an adult novel. Nicola Slater’s distinctive, humorous illustrations quickly brought her attention as the cover artist behind Meg Cabot's phenomenally successful PRINCESS DIARIES series. She has now illustrated several gorgeous picture books using a combination of painting and digital media, to great effect. Nicola lives in Manchester.
