Ansel Adams, Wynn Bullock, and Imogen Cunningham were among the photographers with whom Chris Johnson studied photography. His photographic and video art has been internationally shown, and he has taught and given workshops on the Zone System in the United States and Japan. Chris Johnson studied photography with Ansel Adams, Wynn Bullock, and Imogen Cunningham. He is currently a Professor of Photography at the California College of Arts and Crafts and has recently served as Head of the Cultural Arts Commission for the City of Oakland. His photographic and video art has been internationally shown, and he has taught and given workshops on the Zone System in the United States and Japan. He is currently a Professor of Photography at the California College of Arts and Crafts, as well as the Chair of the City of Oakland's Cultural Arts Commission.
