In other words, this is his first non-fiction work. She has won the Pulitzer Prize, the PEN/Hemingway Award, and the Frank O#Connor Award. In 2012, he was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and in 2015, he was awarded the National Medal of Humanities.
