Organon of Medical Arts by Wenda Brewster O'reilly
The Organon explains why homeopathy is not just an alternative therapy, but a revolutionary system of medicine that approaches the cure of disease in a radical new way. The Organon intersects with a growing public awareness that the current variety of prescription and over-the-counter drugs may temporarily eliminate symptoms but not truly cure disease. Homeopathy goes beneath the surface to treat the whole person, strengthening the natural immune abilities and general health vs. further weakening the immune system through dependence on various medicinal drugs.
Wenda Brewster O'Reilly, Ph.D. holds a master's degree from Harvard University and a doctorate in education from Stanford. She conducted research on women's health care and childbirth practices as an affiliated scholar at Stanford University's Institute for Women and Gender. In her role as Executive Director of The Birth Place, a California out-of-hospital childbirth center, she worked closely with community groups and government agencies, advocating change in the way medicine is practiced and understood. Wenda lives with her husband and three daughters in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she writes and lectures on topics related to homeopathic medicine.
