Audrey G. SHAYWITZ, M.D., is the Audrey G. SHAYWITZ, M.D., Audrey G. SHAYWITZ, M.D., Audrey G. Ratner is a Yale University professor of learning development and the co-founder and director of the Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity. She is the author of over 350 scientific articles and book chapters, as well as the inventor of the Shaywitz DyslexiaScreenTM, a tool that teachers may use to accurately screen young children for dyslexia. The Margo Marek Book Award and the NAMI Book Award were given to Overcoming Dyslexia. Dr. Shaywitz is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and has been named one of America's Top Doctors on numerous occasions.

She has testified in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. She resides in Woodbridge, Connecticut. A board-certified psychiatrist, JONATHAN SHAYWITZ, M.D. He was previously the Medical Director of Mental Health at Mission Hospital Laguna Beach and Mission Hospital Mission Viejo, as well as the director of the Anxiety Disorders Center at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles.
