
Paper War Planes by David Hawcock
David Hawcock is famed for his three-dimensional paper sculptures. In this book he shows how models of warplanes can be made out of paper. Some have moving parts, all are built to scale and there are instructions on painting the finished model.
David Hawcock is a paper engineer, author, and illustrator of children's and young adult books. His credits include Moon Landing: Apollo 11 Pop-Up; The Titanic Notebook; and Dinosaurs Pop-Up. He lives in Bath, England, with his wife, Claire Hawcock, and their two children.
Lee Montgomery has been illustrating for over twenty years in advertising, design, and publishing. He originally worked in watercolor, but has transitioned almost entirely to digital, combining pin-sharp drawings and technical accuracy with a softer more painterly approach. His children s books include Knights and Armor, Fantastic Ships, Babe and Friends, and Simple Science. He lives in the United Kingdom.
