Paradigms Lost by John L Casti

A lavish volume on the stunning interiors and houses of contemporary Mexican architect Miguel ngel Aragon s. This beautiful monograph is the first book in English on Miguel ngel Aragon s, a prolific architect known for his modernist sensibilities and artistic and creative use of lighting, with built work throughout Mexico, much of it in Mexico City. Considered an important member of the Mexican and Latin American architectural vanguard, Aragon s has gained international attention. Here beautiful photographs of Aragon s's work are paired with his academic writings on his work and on architecture in general. Covering all of Aragon s work to date, this volume is sure to appeal to those interested in such greats of Mexican Modernism as Legorreta and Barragan, as well as the Latin American school of Modernism.

John L. Casti works as a Senior Research Scholar at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Laxenburg, Austria, on the development of early-warning technologies for severe occurrences in human society. He's also the co-founder of The Kenos Circle, a Vienna-based group dedicated to future research, and the author of the bestselling Paradigms Lost, Would-Be Worlds, and The Cambridge Quintet. He is based in Vienna.
