The Paranormal by Stuart Gordon

Originally published in 1992 and now available in paperback, a reference to the paranormal, which takes a look at a broad range of phenomena worldwide, from UFO sightings and poltergeists to the Loch Ness Monster and Catharism.

Stuart Gordon is a wildlife and travel photographer living in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. He has been to dozens of countries in search of exceptional landscapes, wildlife, and travel photography. He and his family set out on a year-long journey to 23 countries across six continents in June 2014, photographing the locations, people, and wildlife they encountered on a daily basis. The result is a stunning set of images that not only document the journey but also depict the photographer's feelings as he pressed the shutter. You will be able to share in the unique experience of seeing something new every day for a year by seeing these images.

The journey is divided into three volumes. Volume 1 is devoted to the variety of terrain locales seen on the expedition, from Iceland's remote volcanic lava fields to Ecuador's and Costa Rica's lush rainforests. The wildlife will be the subject of Volume 2, while the people, architecture, and cultures met will be the center of Volume 3. Volumes 2 and 3 will be released in late 2017.In the introduction to Volume 1, you will learn what led to the choice to embark on this epic travel trip with their three school-aged children, as well as how the power of travel inspired and transformed this family's lives.Extensive travel provided me with the training I needed to build deeper, richer relationships with nature and my surroundings.
