Dr. Kemp is the recipient of numerous teaching awards, including outstanding teacher award, 2004 and 2005 by the medical students and a special recognition award for his review courses and an excellence in teaching award by the office of medical education. Dennis Burns, MD. Is a board certified Pathologist a full professor in the Department of Pathology at UT Southwestern. Dr. Burns not only runs the pathology Laboratory for sophomore medical students but Direct s the Medical Neuroscience course and lectures in the Microbiology course. Dr. Burns is also the recipient of many teaching awards dating back to 1983, and almost every year since.
