Pennine Bridleway by Sue Viccars

The Pennine Bridleway, when complete, will run for some 250 miles (560km), and will be Britain's first purpose-built long-distance bridleway.
Sue Viccars is a freelance outdoor writer and editor, specialising in southwest England, and especially Dartmoor and Exmoor. A member of the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild, she was commissioning editor for the equestrian, outdoor and countryside lists for David & Charles publishers for 20 years, before going freelance in 2000. She writes for a wide variety of magazines – including Outdoor Enthusiast, Beautiful Britain, Country Life and Exmoor: the country magazine – and is author of the Pennine Bridleway handbook as part of the National Trail Guide series for Aurum, as well as having written books for the AA, Crimson and Frommers. She has lived on Dartmoor for 25 years, and since spring 2008 has been editor of The Dartmoor Magazine.
