Jane Smith discovered seventeen years ago as a child, badly burned and barely alive, has spent most of her life in Canal Care and Rehabilitation Center forced to endure multiple surgeries and attempts by authorities to learn what happened to her so long ago. Over the years she has found ingenious ways to hold onto her secret. Finally, her doctor and Social Services have agreed she is ready to face the world.
