Play Diagnosis and Assessment by Karen Gitlin-Weiner
The leading resource on identifying children's problems through play therapy--completely revised The first edition of Play Diagnosis and Assessment was the first volume of its kind to provide a comprehensive overview of the diagnosis and assessment of children through play.
"..a very useful resource for anyone specialising in early yearswork..." (Debate, December 2001)
"the book is a good source on information on play assessments"(European Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Vol.10, No.4,2002)
"This revised edition is a hefty tome, rather like anencyclopedia. Yet many of the chapters are written in an engaging, accessible style. I see it primarily as a book of reference, to beconsulted by clinicians and researchers. It is very much a book ofits time, responding to the urgent need for integrated research andpractice, and to the growing interest in the early interventionmovement." (European Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Spring2002)
"...a valuable contribution...as a reference text it ispotentially extremely valuable..." (Jnl of Clinical ChildPsychology and Psychiatry, Vol 6(2))
