A black comedy based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, focusing on two sisters and their tumultuous relationship with their difficult mother.
Tara West is an Irish author based in Belfast. Her first novel, Fodder, was published to wide-spread critical acclaim and established her reputation as a fresh and original new writer. Tara appears regularly at literary and cultural festivals, and has received a number of Arts Council of Northern Ireland awards for her writing. Her short stories are punchy and pithy, and give a flavour of real life in Northern Ireland. She works in advertising and is a member of the Society of Authors. Liberties Press published her novel Poets Are Eaten as a Delicacy in Japan in 2013.
