Possessed by Rosalie And Edward Synton

A truly lost novel from 1927 rediscovered from the British Library collections, not republished since its first appearance and with the remaining copies extremely scarce.

Rosalie and Edward Synton was the joint pseudonym used by the married couple Rosalie (18891939) and Edward (18831943) Corse-Scott, two writers who emigrated to New Zealand from their home 'Little Synton', near Verwood in Dorset. Rosalie was born in Ireland; Edward to a British family in India. Edward published poetry collections under his own name and books and music under the 'Synton' pen name Possessed appears to be their only foray into the world of weird fiction, though research continues.
