Post-Punk Then and Now by Gavin Butt

Why does post-punk and its related aesthetics seem so relevant today? Does it have a contemporary equivalent and what lessons are there for artists and musicians working under austerity today?

Kodwo Eshun is a British-Ghanaian writer, theorist and filmmaker. He studied English Literature at University College, Oxford University, and Romanticism and Modernism MA Hons at Southampton University.
