Postmodernity and the Creation of the Anthropocene by Neil Pitts

This book is the chance to find out how the world works today. It tells the whole story of how history has evolved into our present period, Postmodernity, in terms of the social, political and cultural dynamics of each period, and explains why scientists have proposed the term 'Anthropocene' as a name for the next period.
Neil Pitts was born in Allbrook, Hampshire, attended King's School and Peter Symonds College in Winchester, Eastleigh College, the University of Leeds, and graduated from the University of Winchester in the Social Sciences. Since then, he has written a series of articles for Eurasian Perspective magazine, a book on the DWP Work Programme ('A Day in the Life of John Stuart Hill'), and given interviews with THA Talks, the Alan Cox' 'Understanding Spirit' and 'Sunday Morning Spiritual' radio shows, and a public talk on the evolution of the world order with Theo-Humanist Arts in London.
