Initially secretive, Wicca became more open with the publication of a number of important books in the early 1980s. Anthony Kemp is an established author who has also worked as a television researcher and director. Almost twenty years ago while preparing a documentary about white witchcraft he became personally interested in Paganism, and in the course of research he met a wide cross-section of the Pagan community. Anthony Kemp is an initiate of the broad Wiccan tradition, an ordained priest and the founder of the Order of Brighid. He lives in France as a full-time writer, is active in Pagan circles and teaches a small number of students by correspondence. J. M. Sertori is a writer and translator with a particular interest in the religious experience, and the author of The Little Book of Feng Shui.
