All things, even monsters, long for something.

Jack doesn't have any friends. Not surprising since he shuts himself away dreaming up monsters all the time instead of climbing trees or riding bikes like other kids his age. But his colourful imagination is about to take a dangerous turn, and actual monsters will roam the streets

And these aren't your average monsters. Not simple werewolves or goblins or zombies or giants. These are Jack's greatest enemies, the most terrifying and deadly monsters he ever dreamt up. Jack will need to dig deep to overcome them before it's too late. but will stopping the monsters be enough once Jack learns the truth. the frightening truth which lurks just out of reach, just out of sight, beyond the Weird Mist.

The Weird Mist comes as the first installment in the Monstersbane series as we join young Jack for a night of heroics and discovery.
