Pronunciation Myths by Linda Grant

This volume was conceived as a best practices resource for pronunciation and speaking teachers in the way that Vocabulary Myths by Keith S. Folse is one for reading and vocabulary teachers. Like others in the Myths series, this book combines research with good pedagogical practices.

Linda Grant is a novelist who also works as a journalist. In 2000, she was awarded the Orange Award for Fiction, and in 2006, she was awarded the Lettre Ulysses Prize for the Art of Reportage. Her most recent book, The Clothes on Their Backs, was a Man Booker Prize finalist in 2008. She contributes to publications such as The Guardian, The Telegraph, and Vogue.
