Protecting The Sheriff's Daughter by Kay Lyons

Kay Lyons has always wanted to be a writer, ever since she was about seven or eight years old and rewrote a Charlie Brown novel because she didn't like the narrative. Her stories evolved throughout time, but one thing remained constant: they were all romances. Every one of her papers ended with a happy ending and a love story. Kay's heartfelt, contemporary-set romances have earned her a long list of prizes since her debut in 2005 with Harlequin Superromance. Kay's novels have been nominated for the HOLT Medallion, Book Buyers Best, and RITA Award, and Montana Secrets has reached #7 on the best-seller list.

She has fourteen Harlequin Superromance books, a novella with Berkley Publishing, and four Kindred Spirits Publishing titles to date. Her works have approximately one million copies in print and are read all over the world. She was born and raised in Kentucky, but currently resides in southern Ohio. Her life revolves around her husband and two children.
