The band had many hits in the 1960s and 70s, including Puff the Magic Dragon. Yarrow is also a social and political activist who marched with Martin Luther King and campaigned against the Vietnam War. He now sings in a trio (Peter, Bethany and Rufus) with his daughter Bethany.
Lenny Lipton, now a well-known independent filmmaker, wrote the poem which became Puff, the Magic Dragon whilst at university. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and family.
