Gail Tuchman is the author of more than ninety books, stories, and plays for children, as well as two nonfiction adult titles. Her publishing career/literacy work spans four decades that includes heading educational, trade, and professional development programs at Scholastic, Inc., Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, and Classroom, Inc. Gail loves to delight children with her rhythmic poetry, to amuse with her humorous stories, and to engage and inspire with her exciting, fact-filled nonfiction books. She lives in the Big Apple.

Kathy Voerg was born and raised in a small town in the Hudson Valley but moved to NYC to study illustration at Pratt Institute. Her love for creating art for children began in college and she has been fortunate enough to be able to work as an illustrator for children's books, magazines, toys, and paper products. She currently lives in Lodi, NJ and spends her free time laughing, drawing, and enjoying nature with her amazing family and friends!
