The Raging Sea by Dennis M Powers
On Good Friday, 1964, the residents of Crescent City in Northern California were preparing for the Easter weekend. Little did they know, but the worst earthquake in U.S. history was ripping Alaska apart. The 9.2 magnitude quake caused a tsunami that sped across the Pacific faster than a jet liner. The huge waves surged into U.S. coastal towns and aimed straight at the heart of the town, creating death, destruction, victims, and heroes alike in short time. Nature was on a rampage.
Powers was a full-time lawyer with a focus on commercial law. He is the author of ten works, including The Raging Sea, Treasure Ship, Sentinel of the Seas, and Taking the Sea, which is about a nautical calamity. Hard Copy, Extra! recently featured Dennis Powers.
