Ransom! by Donna Reed

Donna Reed was born in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up loving the art of writing. She views writing as a gift that has helped her to survive, heal, and grow. She studied at the University of Memphis receiving a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. It was during this period in her life when her writing began to take form. One of her first poems, The Flight, appeared in Rhythms of Life, The International Library of Poetry in 2001. After receiving her BA, she began working with at-risk youth and has enjoyed endless opportunities in cultivating a child's life. She is the proud mother of two daughters, Erreka and Erin. She recently received her Master's degree in Community Counseling with a specialty in Marriage and Family Counseling from Argosy University. This is her first book of poetry and she is currently working on her first novel. She now resides in Atlanta with her family.
