In 2009, Oxford University Press published his debut book, Not a Chimp: The Search for the Genes That Made Us Human. The University of Chicago Press published his second book, Body by Darwin: How Evolution Changes Our Health and Transforms Medicine, in 2015. Taylor passed away in 2017.
