Sonnett, Sherry: - Sherry Sonnett has published numerous essays and articles (New York Times, Ms., Glamour) and written screenplays for movies and television, and published two children's books. Wanting a new challenge, she went back to school and got a master's degree from Harvard Divinity School where she concentrated on the study of consciousness and how we invest meaning in the world. She has taught a wide range of courses, from William James to Tolstoy to Gilgamesh. She is currently a member of the Dramaturg's Table at Rogue Machine Theater Company in Los Angeles, where she is developing a play. She also has a thriving business dealing in nineteenth- and twentieth-century photos and paper ephemera. Restraint is her first novel and she's currently at work on a second.
